In our free time, my boyfriend and I love to take hiking day trips to state parks and trails in our area, and spring is definitely the best time to do it. This past weekend, we visited a mountain not far from where I grew up. The first photo is of a path which led to the field in the second photo. We made our way up the mountain through a mostly wooded trail and enjoyed the sunlight leaking through the trees. When we finally reached the top, we enjoyed a perfect sunset and saw an entire family of deer, new fawns and all.. Too bad I ran out of film!
