For the past year, I have been an exchange student in Croatia, in Zagreb (the capital) more precisely. But I was not the only one to go on this exchange, and one very good friend of mine ended-up in a 2000-people village. I had the chance to go and visit her a few times - to realise that we were not living in the same Croatia. In hers, you had boxes of chicks being sold on the market, endless bike rides ahead, farmers stocking their corn in their backyard, empty roads and fresh air.... I had a great time there every single time. And now that I'm back, I wonder who was the happiest of us two while being in Croatia.
